5 Things to do when its too damn hot to go outside!

We've all been sat here patiently waiting for summer to finally make its arrival so we can get out and do all those summery things we dream of but wait a minute.... Extreme weather warning. Its so damn hot and we are totally not equipped for this heat! Its all well and good when you actually CHOOSE to fly out somewhere and bake in the sun all day long, sipping on cocktails, eating a bags of 'Lays' and generally loving life but when you still have to get up and go to work, clean the house and do all the other everyday things we all hate doing it just doesn't seem that fun anymore am I right?!
I mean I've personally taken 3 unnecessary trips to the supermarket just to make use of the air conditioning and don't get me started on the amount of showers it currently takes me to get through the day!
So if going outdoors and running the risk of heat stroke doesn't sound that appealing to you then fear not because I have compiled a list of things to do when its too damn hot to go outside!

Okay now this might seem like a pretty obvious one but hey! It never occurred to me until someone else mentioned it... GO SWIMMING! What better way to get out of the sun and stay cool than to go and sit in a huge bowl of
water for a few hours?!
Your keeping cool whilst even getting in your daily exercise... You're welcome.
Now I know that to many of you this may sound like a waste of the sun however if it's just not enjoyable to sit in then why does it matter? GO TO THE CINEMA If you're like me then you either don't have time or you always have the excuse of something more important that needs doing to go and see that new movie you're dying to see.
What a perfect excuse, its air-conditioned, there's snacks and if your really not into it but your other half is raving about it; you can have
a pretty comfortable nap.
Next one up... GO TO AN ICE SKATING RINK You literally will struggle to find a cooler place to be. Yes you may fall over, Yes you may leave with many bruises in unspeakable places and Yes you may break your ankle, BUT you can't say you didn't feel cool whilst you were doing it...
This is my personal fave, MAKE SLUSH COCKTAILS. Theres ice, there's alcohol, there's nothing more that this activity needs! Mix it up, Experiment with new flavours and most importantly make sure you taste them all!
And last on the list if none of the above are working out for you... PERIODICALLY STICK YOUR HEAD IN THE FREEZER I mean I wouldn't say its the most practical solution but if its your only option whatcha gunna do?!
