How The Bold Type's Jane Sloan inspired my fashion choices recently.

So, this lockdown has really got me invested in binge watching as many series as I possibly can in the shortest time (its actually become more of a challenge to see if I can finish the next one quicker than the last one!)

When I came across 'The Bold Type' and saw that there were 4 seasons to get through I thought, challenge accepted... Its fun, its fast paced and its total fashion heaven.

The concept of working in an office which has its very own style closet open to pick outfits and accessories from sounds like my ideal place, it has everything from key fashion essentials to the latest on trend looks, celeb inspired styling and killer heels to die for!

I am absolutely loving the inspiration for styling key pieces especially from Jane Sloan, whether its matching bold colours and print or simplifying it down and going back to basics.

Jane is a girl after my own heart; she tends to wear a lot of black most of the time but she uses a lot of bold colour statement accessories to really bring her outfits alive and manages to keep her look feminine with key pieces such as statement blouses & killer heels. But what I admire most about Jane Sloan's style are the interesting shapes, colours and patterns she often plays around with. She doesn't seem to get too hung up on the details of matching pieces perfectly and tends to go for a bolder impact with clashing colours & prints. She usually executes the look with a dark lip and sleek hairstyle (so in right now!).
